I’ve worn countless pairs of shoes over the years, but these offer a level of comfort that makes them perfect for going barefoot. Of course, they look great paired with ragg socks, but personally, I’d wear them without any—they’re just that comfortable. I visited the Lewiston factory and saw how the shoes are made; I learned that the skilled artisans' hand-sewing process results in footwear offering exquisite tension and high flexibility.
I also learned during the factory tour that the reason I can feel these Ranger Mocs gradually conforming to my feet is the use of high-quality, thick leather.
Once you experience the comfort of wearing these shoes barefoot, you will undoubtedly want to go out without socks all year round—perhaps even in the dead of winter when snow is piled high. That is just how amazing these shoes are.
I liked the Classic Ranger-moc in natural pull-up leather so much that I bought a second pair in heritage brown. Both are extremely comfortable--perfect for all day wear around town or for casual walks in the country. Construction and materials are superb. Excellent hand-made construction.
I absolutely love these shoes. They arrived quickly, had no quality issues, and after a bit of wear and break in, they're extending comfortable. The CXL leather is thick starts off stiff but after a a couple days these get very soft. No complaints and I will inevitably get another pair in a different color in the future.
