When I first received the boots I was worried that the boot may be too narrow and the bump in the insole may not be comfortable. I was wrong, I was just so used to GYW boots wider outside profile as the boot fits perfectly. After walking all over Philly and Manhattan for 2 weeks, I think the old school insole works really well.
Initial impressions after several hours of wear is incredible. Leather is amazing. Just beautiful. I will wear tomorrow again. I’m shocked how nice this boot is; I have a lot of boots; but today this is my favorite.
Beautiful boot. Comfortable out of the box. Quality leather, laces, vibram sole! Really happy that I finally own my grail boot. IMO this is the best moc toe boot.
Not my first Harrison Boot Redux - but one of my top 3 favorites.
It took me a while to determine my correct size for Harrison Boot. Started with the Chukka Boot on the 2592 last. Bought a few used Rancourts on eBay just to test foot sizes because of the long turnaround time on Rancourt (my one gripe). Finally ordered this one thinking it would be correct- and it is. This Natural Chromexcel in 10EE is was right on. I was so wanting to get this boot in the correct size because I love the way it looks. For some reason, this color seems to casually best show the lower side panel with I really love the look of and makes it the Harrison boot over the Baxter Boot. According to my in house fashion consultant, it looks good in jeans and casual pants. Love the way pant legs pass over the boot and don't get hung up and the cuff adds an easy grace (similar to cowboy boots without a pointy toe). Buy at least one of the Natural Chromexcel Harrison Boot.
