Description
The Acadia Chukka is the latest addition to our handsewn collection. A chukka is a short, ankle-height, boot that typically has two or three rows of eyelets. The Acadia strikes the perfect balance between summer moccasins and winter boots making it the ideal transitional footwear between summer and fall. We've kept the Acadia unlined for comfort so the uppers can quickly mold to your feet but also for superior breathability in warmer weather. All uppers are water resistant so you don't have to worry about keeping your feet dry when the weather turns. The Acadia Chukka also features our new "caliber" sole, a durable outsole based on the classic crepe wedge style of sole but with enhanced durability. Genuine Handsewn Moccasin Construction, Made in Maine, USA.

These are a classic casual shoe that gets compliments. At first I wasn’t sure of the natural color and relaxed look. After a few wears they are now my favorite casual and weekend shoe.

Great shoes! What a fit!
Great shoes, loved the leather. Though you could see the top of my big toe at the top, so it could be a bit taller. Still great though

Great quality, unusual shape of sole.
As with every item I have bought from this company: Quality of leather, stitching, workmanship is very good. Fit is true to size, and while the boots felt a little stiff the first time I wore them, the leather soon formed comfortably to my feet.
The sole of the boots is wedge-shaped, with the heel quite a bit higher than the toe. Because of this, the foot is placed in an unusual position. This will take some getting used to.
It took a long time for my shoes to be made but now that I have them it was worth the wait.
These are different than the typical Chukka. They appear more of a cross between a moccasin and a desert boot. The three eyelets work well and are actually preferable to a two eyelet boot.
Nothing other than superb needs to be said about the Chromexcel leather.
I’m glad I waited.
