Well worth the breaking in!
Love my Derbys! Continuing to break them in but I can feel the quality and am looking forward to many years of wearing them.
The ideal all-weather shoe. Stroll in style and don't fret about your shoes getting wet. Our Heritage Brown leather is highly water resistant and the storm welt / Vibram mini-lug combination is built to take on the elements. The Derby style is considered a little more casual with it's blucher type lacing and pairs perfectly with denim or chinos. This is the perfect shoe at the office or when you're out with some friends on the weekend. We designed and crafted the Camden Derby with versatility in mind.
The uppers are crafted from Heritage Brown Leather which is durable, low maintenance, and highly water resistant. They are fully lined to give these shoes all of the structure and support you'd expect from footwear of this quality. The Vibram #430 mini lug sole with leather midsole and leather storm welt adds a nice touch of sophistication without sacrificing practicality. The Vibram soles stand tough in just about any condition. Blake Welt Stitch Construction, Made in Maine, USA.

The shoe style fits 2024. The quality is something extremely hard to find now a days. The shoes are on a heavy side and means you’re getting materials that will last. These are keepers not throw-always. I did visit the store to purchase so I would get the proper size. So glad I did because I ended getting two sizes smaller than normal and a wider shoe, which I had to order. They arrived slightly ahead of schedule and fit great. I appreciate a company not giving up on making a quality shoe. Yes, not inexpensive, but well worth it!
Just too big, too long and wide, unfortunately.

I ordered the Camden Derby shoes in the Carolina Brown Chromexcel last November 2023 when Rancourt held its Black Friday Sale. This was my second order from the company, after having ordered the Baxter Ranger Mocs in 2022. For the Mocs, the size I received was too large, but I was able to size down - just had to wait again for the shoes to be made (so probably six months to wear the shoes). So this time I ordered the smaller size for the Camden Derbys. I was told they would be ready in February. But as many have said, there were numerous delays, not always the communication I would have preferred as you expect the shoes to be shipping and do not know that materials are not available, etc. I don't mind waiting, my concern is that when these shoes arrived, they were slightly too large - I would have loved to order a smaller pair and compare the two, as these shoes are high quality and I hope to wear them the rest of my life, with resoling available. But I had very little confidence that a second pair could arrive in any sort of timely manner. So, I'm just wearing the shoes as is, with a little slip - and may have a cobbler add an insert. This would be my concern with Rancourt, and it is one I wonder about with turnaround when it comes times to send in shoes for resoling. Otherwise, I'm happy with their shoes and the quality and appearance.
I just received these Camden Derbies after a long wait. They were worth the wait! After un boxing the shoes it is very apparent that the quality and craftsmanship is very rare to find like this. Unbelievable American shoes like this are very hard to find in these times. The fit is great as it seems like they will be fast to break in.
There is not another company like this for this price made in the USA with this quality. Finally,, the Horween Leather is so nice.. Thank you
