The Acadia Chukka is the latest addition to our handsewn collection. A chukka is a short, ankle-height, boot that typically has two or three rows of eyelets. The Acadia strikes the perfect balance between summer moccasins and winter boots making it the ideal transitional footwear between summer and fall. We've kept the Acadia unlined for comfort so the uppers can quickly mold to your feet but also for superior breathability in warmer weather. New this Fall, we have added Driftwood, C.F. Stead's iconic Waxy Commander suede. All uppers are water resistant so you don't have to worry about keeping your feet dry when the weather turns. Outstanding fit, materials, and craftsman ship. I worked my way through college selling shoes in a high-end shoe store back in the 60s where quality reigned supreme.
